What is a dry car wash?
A dry car wash cleans the outside of your car without hosing it down. It uses far less water than a traditional wash.
Methods vary. Some use a spray that loosens dust so it can be wiped off with soft cloths. Others use a small amount of water in a bucket.

Waterless car wash vs dry wash: what's the difference?
People use these words loosely, and they often mean the same thing. Strictly speaking, there are three related methods.
Waterless wash
A spray-on product is wiped off with cloths. No bucket and no rinse.
Rinseless or low-water wash
A small amount of water and cleaning solution, with no hose rinse.
Dry wipe
A cloth or duster with no product at all. This is the riskiest for paint, because grit is dragged across it.
