Rubbing, polishing and waxing: what's the difference?
These three words are often mixed up. They do different jobs, and knowing the difference helps you book the right thing.

How often should you rub or polish a car?
Rub the paint only when it actually looks dull or scratched. Because rubbing removes a little clear coat, doing it too often is not good for the paint.
Wax and polish are gentler, so they can be done more often. Wax wears off with washing, sun and dust.

Is rubbing bad for car paint?
Done when needed, rubbing helps the paint. It removes a very thin layer of clear coat, so it should not be repeated too often.

How long will the shine last?
It depends on where the car is parked and how it is washed. Sun, dust and dry wiping all wear down wax and shine faster.
Can rubbing be done in my society parking?
Usually yes, but society rules differ. Please check with your RWA and tell us where the car is parked when you book.
